- Prayer for ACTS Community | Boston ACTS Chapter
Let us pray... In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit... Heavenly Father, we thank you for this day and for our families and all our blessings, especially our ACTS community and brothers and sisters in Christ. We come together today to work towards helping others grow closer to you and to grow in our own faith so we can then pass it on to others. Please grant us your peace, patience, wisdom and discernment in proceeding forward to help grow the ACTS community. Help us work together as a team to accomplish the same goal, winning souls for Christ. Guide our thoughts, mind and conversation towards this goal. If it be your holy will, please bless our loved ones with the blessings we may gain from doing this service. And Lastly please make a way or path for others to help us in this quest, send the Holy Spirit to guide more people to attend the ACTS retreats and spread the word of this life changing retreat. If there is any evil in the way please show us how to conquer that or send your angels to protect and guide all those working to make progress with ACTS in our communities. We ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen

- ABOUT ACTS | Boston ACTS Chapter
WHAT IS AN ACTS RETRAT An ACTS Retreat is a parish-based event which offers parishioners an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus Christ. This in turn fosters a desire for intentional discipleship. ACTS Retreats are given by parishioners for parishioners, and in this way, serve to build Christian community at the parish. THE RETREAT EXPERIENCE The ACTS Retreat begins Thursday evening and ends with Sunday Mass in the parish. While utilizing prayer, service, and teaching, the ACTS Retreat meets people where they are in their spiritual journey and invites them to experience God in a manner that is both personal and communal. In this way, the ACTS Retreat fulfills the mission of: “Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ among Catholic communities through ACTS.” It’s Spiritual Reflection… The ACTS Retreat experience is rooted in the Pascal Mystery in that retreatants are invited to reflect on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. …And Spiritual Surrender Throughout the weekend, retreatants are invited to prayerfully consider how they can respond to His love by spiritually surrendering to Jesus in order to have new life with Him.
